Here's a brief history of how Clint Davis and Heather Callen Davis created the Nauti Otter.
The Original Nauti Otter
In the summer of 2008, Heather first visited Alaska. Being a school teacher, she decided to take the whole summer and have the "Alaskan Adventure." She flew into Anchorage from Texas the day school was out, bought a car and drove to Seward. She ran across an Inn where the owner allowed her and her cousin to work in return for housing.
When the summer was over, the owner asked Heather if she wanted to stay all winter to watch over the Inn. She said "Yes!", resigned from the teaching position in Texas, flew home, packed bags, and started the journey back to Alaska.
After a few months, the owners offered to sell the Inn and Heather gladly accepted! She states she has had the adventure of a life time living in Alaska. "Alaska is such an amazing place and Seward has almost everything Alaska has to offer! I aim to make your trip to the Nauti Otter an unforgettable experience."
Adding the Yurt Village
In 2016 the Captain found her first mate and married Clint. The two opened a second location, the Yurt Village and now own and manage the properties together. They hope everyone falls in love with Alaska as much as they have. They look forward to giving you a warm Texas welcome and an amazing Alaska adventure.
